Flowers can make a big impact on any room in the home. It is a simple and affordable way to liven up any space. And because they are so pretty, you really can’t go wrong.
Bringing the outdoors in with flowers and greens is such an easy way to refresh your home. It’s the ideal accessory. Use pretty glass vases or mason jars as vessels. Brightly colored ceramic containers can coordinate with your arrangement and add a pop of color to your room. I love the retro look of this coffee can. I just plopped in my flowers cut straight from the garden. Also, fresh picked veggies in a nice basket brings color and looks so fresh.
I often plan my summer entertaining around the time when my hydrangeas are ready to cut. Even one stem in a simple vase looks pretty.
If you can’t grow your own flowers, there are some great places to purchase them at very reasonable prices. I want to give a shout out to Trader Joe’s. They always seem to carry a nice assortment of cut blooms throughout the year, and for special occasions, I can always find great holiday selections. Their fresh flowers start at only $3.99, that’s enough to put a smile on anyone’s face!
